Planalytics Executive Staff


 

Frederic D. Fox, CEO and Co-founder
Frederic is the architect and inventor of the Weathernomics patented technology, and has developed and expanded the potential of long-range weather forecasting both in terms of technological accuracy and commercial utilization by creating bridges between meteorologists, retail systems developers, and end-users. He received a B.S. degree in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.



 

Scott Bernhardt, President
Scott has been Chief Operating Officer of Planalytics, Inc. since July 30, 2007 and oversees all Field activities for world-wide operations. For the last several years, Mr. Bernhardt has served the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development for its retail and manufacturing divisions. During that time, he has successfully expanded the business to its current position of global leadership in the industry. Prior to his tenure at Planalytics, Mr. Bernhardt held senior positions at Retek, Inc. (now part of Oracle) and Comshare, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in the business technology industry.



 

Derron Simon, Chief Operating Officer
Derron has over 15 years of Internet industry experience. Prior to joining Planalytics, Derron played a key role in product development for Ecount, Inc. He serves Planalytics as a member of the executive team and is directly involved in day-to-day product development, product strategy and IT operations. Derron has a B.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.



 

Evan Gold, Senior Vice President of Client Services
Evan has spent over 15 years in the retail and wholesale industries. Prior to joining Planalytics, Evan's executive experience was at Macy's and LakeWest Group. His expertise has focused on business weather intelligence, information technology, merchandising, revenue management, store operations, and logistics. Evan has a B.S. from Drexel University and a M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.



 

Marianne G. McLaughlin, General Counsel
Marianne is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters of Planalytics. Before joining Planalytics, Marianne practiced law at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, focusing on corporate, financial and intellectual property matters. Marianne received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.



 

Paul Corby, Senior Vice President of Energy
Paul manages Planalytics' Energy division, which provides risk management, decision support, and forecasting tools along with consulting services to support companies that consume, produce, or distribute natural gas or power. Paul is regularly invited to speak and present at Public Utility Commissions, as well as the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners meetings.



 

Sandra Landsperger, Human Resources Manager
Sandra manages all aspects of Human Resources at Planalytics, including benefits, compensation, staffing and employee relations. She has over 11 years of experience and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources as well as a member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Sandra received her B.S degree in Business Management from West Chester University.



 

Michael Willen, Chief Weather Officer
Michael has over 30 years experience in the weather business. He serves Planalytics as a member of the executive team and is directly involved in day-to-day weather product support and client service operations. Prior to joining Planalytics, Michael served his country for 20 years as a member of the Unites States Air Force where he held a variety of positions, Weather Forecaster, Chief of Weather Station Operations and superintendent of the Air Forces Special Operations Weather Hub.



 

Bernie Wojcik, CPA, Controller
Joining the Planalytics team in 2007, Bernie is responsible for all finance and accounting activities of the company. A twenty-year veteran of public accounting and high-tech companies, before Planalytics he served as V.P. and Controller of Axeda Systems, a NASDAQ enterprise software company, where he helped raise $90 million in financing transactions, and participated in M&A transactions in excess of $40 million. Prior to Axeda he was a supervisor in the high-tech audit practice of KPMG LLP, focused on IPO’s. Bernie earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kutztown University, and is a licensed CPA.
