Planalytics, Inc. announced today that Westfield Gas & Electric (WG&E), a Massachusetts-based municipal utility, has subscribed to its EnergyBuyer® Service. The Planalytics EnergyBuyer Service provides price analysis and buying/hedging guidance that helps utilities cost effectively purchase natural gas and manage price risk for its customers.

WG&E serves more than 9,000 gas customers and 17,000 electricity customers in the city of Westfield, Massachusetts. “Planalytics constantly evaluates the wide array of variables that drive price volatility in the natural gas market,” said Anthony J.
