Specialty Apparel, Footwear, Restaurant and Hardlines Companies to Share Strategies for Managing Weather's Impact on Performance at Philadelphia Symposium

Planalytics Inc. will host its next Business Weather Intelligence Symposium on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. At the Symposium, Planalytics clients will share the benefits of incorporating weather information into their analyses, planning and tactical business decisions. The lineup of speakers includes: Paul Sikes, Ace Hardware; Brett Schneider, Charming Shoppes; Terri Hulesch, MTD Products; Adam O’Hara, Subway Franchise Advertising Fund Trust; and Mike Metcalfe, a 30-year shoe industry veteran, recently retired from Clarks.

Each speaker will share how they have successfully applied Business Weather Intelligence to specific products or services. The event will illustrate how the impact of weather on consumers can be isolated, quantified, projected and managed through Business Weather Intelligence tools and services.

The Symposium begins at 3:00 pm, after which the attendees are invited to attend the Philadelphia Phillies game against the Atlanta Braves, beginning at 7:05 pm.
